Ayurveda treatment bed is called Droni in Sanskrit. Droni should be made of special medical wood like Neem,Anjili, Jackfruit tree, Sandalwood, Nux vomicka etc. which has healing properties. Most of classical Ayurveda Treatments can be performed on the Droni. It should Be made of single wood from a matured tree after vrikhsa Pooja .(a ritual to be performed seeking permission from the tree to cut down) wood to be seasoned traditionally prier to use, for durability. Some specified measurements must be followed according to classical Ayurveda texts.
